End of the Line was midkay's first single following his first album Absorption.
This was a fun track to work on and I'm pleased with the end result. I was excited by the idea of having the track start out cloaked in reverb, then begin to resolve and energize. I also like the quiet, moody midsection. Someone on Reddit commented that that section sounded like the Gone Girl soundtrack. I dug that comparison.
