This is kind of an odd one, and yet it's a favorite among some of my closest friends. I love exploring new things, and I like to think that this track in particular shows that some less common combinations of genres can still be really cool! Ironically, that lent itself to some frustration as I had actually been rather displeased with earlier drafts of this track, but I'm glad we persisted and I'm proud of what it became.

One of the more unique tracks we’d created up to this point. I remember loving the original piano-and-strings demo, and wanted to take it in an unexpected direction. Adding the dubby, almost hip-hop-inspired drum kit had a promising effect. XT3RM1N8R crafted the French and English horn midsection, and then we worked to smooth out the transitions and tie all the pieces together structurally.

Since its release, this unusual genre mashup has received a lot of positive comments. It’s cool when a mad science experiment like this actually works out.
